Are you being marginalized because of your faith?
Come to the Judeo-Christian Values Tea Party
Saturday, March 6th, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Mango Church of God, 11402 Colony Hill Dr., Seffner, FL 33584
You'll get answers to these questions and more!
Was America founded as a Christian nation and was it blessed by our Creator as a result?
Are we seeing the consequences of straying from the foundation laid by America's Founding Fathers?
What can pastors and churches say and do about candidates and elections?
Are there limits on what teachers and students can legally do in school concerning their personal expressions of faith?
Why must the Church lead the way in returning America to a more family-friendly, pro-God, pro-life culture?
David Gibbs III, of Christian Law Association and one of the foremost First Amendment attorneys in the country, will be teaching on what "is or "is not permissible in the church and schools. He and other local leaders will help us understand what we can do to get the "ship of state" back on course.

Dear CIC Members and Friends, Gary Bauer is a conservative Christian who advocates for traditional values in America. Many of you have told me that you receive his daily email updates about things that are going on that affect us at the national level.
One of the comments he regularly makes is: "Elections have consequences.
As a quick aside before getting into the meat of this CCIA newsletter, we should all be thanking God that in America elections do have consequences. The picture of the young woman who was martyred in Iran on the front page of Tuesdays Tampa Tribune was a clear testimony that there are still places in the world where votes really dont matter. Places where the "leadership of an iron-fisted, tyrannical government subjugates its own citizens.
Since were fortunate enough to live in a land where elections do have consequences, its important that we take the responsibility seriously and vote wisely so we dont wind up in the same boat. I know most readers of CCIA exercise the right to vote and use information provided by Community Issues Council and other Christian information sources to make informed decisions about the candidates positions on the issues in order to cast votes for the ones who we think will best represent our values.
Ive just recently "taken the next step and become involved with an organization that is converting the momentum created by the Tea Parties into positive action!
America was founded by a group of inspired leaders who established our country on a set of principles that had Judeo-Christian values as their underpinning. Today, weve drifted so far from those original ideas that the Founders of America wouldnt recognize the country they established!
The mandate of TeaPartyNextStep is to reestablish our reliance on Biblical principles and the concepts of religious liberty, limited government, equality of opportunity, and personal responsibility that have made America great so that the US can continue to be "a shining city on a hill.
Their formula for achieving this is simple enough that it might work:
1. Create a Declaration of Redependence that recommits America to the goals that were initially laid out in the Declaration of Independence.
2. Establish caucuses where like-minded citizens can come together and select candidates who will pledge to uphold the Declaration of Redependence.
Go to their website, www.TeaPartyNextStep.com, and join with others who want to reclaim America!
Together we can make a difference!
God bless you! |
